Solo travelers cozy hideaway
I loved the fact that as Soon As I pulled into the parking lot I instantly felt at home. Phyllis has really put the work into restoring this place and it shows , meeting her felt like catching up with an old friend.
It wasn’t exactly inexpensive , but still acceptable.

i stayed at the rockwood motor court and was utterly disappointed, the neighborhood was downright alarming, with shady characters everywhere. i also expected some sort of welcome gesture for my stay but received nothing. i almost thought about giving a better review, but i just couldn’t after dealing with this mess.

The nostalgia of the early 20th century decor adds a unique charm that makes the stay feel special. The Route 66 memorabilia scattered throughout enhances the overall experience.
Limited TV options were a letdown, coupled with an AC unit that was louder than a Hoth blizzard. The bed was awkwardly placed against the window wall, making it tricky to navigate the room, and WiFi connection was inconsistent at best.

Free wifi worked well, and we enjoyed the outdoor picnic area. Neighborhood felt unsafe.

Charming and cozy with nostalgic decor that adds a unique touch. Enjoyed the outdoor area for relaxing and the access to home-grown organic fruits was a delightful surprise. However, the small bathroom sink was a challenge and inconsistent TV channels made entertainment a bit tricky. The AC unit was louder than expected, which interrupted the tranquility at times.
